McLaury Engineering is currently in need of a Civil Engineering Intern to work as a part of our growing engineering design/management group in the southeastern portion of South Dakota with preference in the Sioux Falls, Mitchell, Vermillion SD regions or Norfolk, NE region.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Civil Engineering Intern, your responsibilities would include:

• Providing support to a team of engineers, surveyors, and technicians in a variety of civil transportation, municipal, and private development projects of all sizes
• Performing field observation and inspections
• Conducting project management and oversight including client relations, contracts, and construction

Qualifications

• Seeking a degree in a Civil Engineering or Survey related field
• An ability to analyze, interpret and utilize technical documents
• Self-motivation, organization, effective communication skills, and the ability to work with a team
• Design and/or project experience is preferred but not required
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and have a valid drivers license
